Accessibility

Accessibility statement

The public record should be usable without a mouse, without sight, and with assistive technology. This statement records what is implemented and what still needs independent verification.

Last updated 25 August 2026

Current status

The site uses semantic headings and landmarks, labelled controls, text alternatives for meaningful images, visible keyboard focus, a skip link, responsive layouts and reduced-motion preferences. A complete WCAG and EN 301 549 conformance audit has not yet been completed, so we do not claim a conformance level.

Known limitations

  • The public reading surface has received a structural review, but representative screen-reader, keyboard-only, zoom, reflow, contrast and error-recovery testing remains open.
  • Third-party authentication, CAPTCHA, payment, consent and advertising interfaces require separate testing before their production activation.

Report an accessibility barrier

Email eunews@ourelected.com with the page, the barrier, the browser or assistive technology used, and the format you need. We will acknowledge the report and provide an accessible alternative or remediation timetable when possible.

Assessment and review

Applicability of the European Accessibility Act and any microenterprise exemption requires a recorded legal decision. Regardless of that decision, accessibility is an editorial and product requirement. This statement will be updated after material interface changes and the independent audit.
